Dear Applicants,
The Ministry of Education and Science of Kazakhstan invites foreign citizens, including ethnic Kazakhs who are not citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan, to study at local universities under the educational programs of bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees.
Number of scholarships available:
Bachelor's Degree Scholarships – 490
Master's Degree Scholarships – 50
PhD Doctoral Degree Scholarships – 10
The operator of the Scholarship Program is the Center for the Bologna Process and Academic Mobility of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Application period
Applicants can submit their documents online from March 1 to June 1, 2024.

Application form
The application for participation in the scholarship programs must be filled out in Kazakh, Russian, or English language.
Required documents for bachelor's/master's programs:
A copy of the identity document;
A copy of the previous level of education certificate (with transcript);
A motivational essay in Kazakh, Russian, or English language;
A recommendation letter in Kazakh, Russian, or English language from the educational institution where the applicant studied or from the employer;
A medical certificate for studying abroad, including a certificate of absence of HIV/AIDS, issued by the official health authority of the applicant's country of residence;
An invitation letter from a Kazakhstani university (if available);

An invitation letter from a Kazakhstani university (if available);
Justification of the dissertation research topic in the language of instruction (Kazakh, Russian, or English)

TOEFL ITP – at least 138 points
TOEFL IBT – at least 32 points
TOEFL PBT – at least 400 points
TOEFL PDT – at least 47 points
IELTS – at least 4.5
German:
DSH – Level B2
TestDaF-Prufung – Level B2
French:
TFI – at least level B1 in reading and listening sections
DELF – Level B2
DALF – Level C1
TCF – at least 400 points
Applicants whose native language is the language in which the test is conducted are not required to provide an international language proficiency certificate.
